Student Grievance Procedures
Procedures for Appeal of Undergraduate Student Grades in Women's and Gender Studies Courses
Undergraduate students wishing to appeal their grade in any Women's and Gender Studies course can find information at:

Faculty Handbook academic regulations applying to grade appeals (see section J. Review of student grades.)
Both the student appealing the grade and the instructor have the option of meeting with the department chair to present their cases.
Procedure for Student Discrimination Grievances
It is the policy of the Women's and Gender Studies Department and the University of Missouri to provide equal opportunity for all enrolled students and applicants for admission to the university on the basis of merit without discrimination on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age or disability, or Vietnam era veteran status.

Standard of Conduct
The Women's and Gender Studies Department enforces the Student Affairs Standard of Conduct in chapter 200.010 of the Collected Rules and Regulations of the University of Missouri. Students who are in violation of these standards can be expected to be held to the Rules of Procedures in Student Conduct Matters available online at:
