Women's and Gender Studies hosts Susan Bordo

Women's and Gender Studies was pleased to host Chancellor's Distingtuished Visitor Susan Bordo this past November. Bordo, feminist scholar and cultural critic, Professor of English and Gender and Women's Studies, and Otis A. Singletary Chair in the Humanities at the University of Kentucky, presented a lecture entitled "The Creation of Anne Boleyn." Her latest book is The Creation of Anne Boleyn: A New Look at England's Most Notorious Queen (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2013). Her visit to campus was sponsored by the departments of Women's & Gender Studies, History, Film Studies, English, and Communication; and the Chancellor's Distinguished Visitors Fund.
