Noel Ann English
Chancellor's Diversity Initiative
JD, Northwestern University
email: englishno@missouri.edu

Noel English is the Director of MU Equity for the Chancellor's Diversity Initiative. The MU Equity Office provides campus-wide leadership, coordination, and assistance on matters of equity and compliance. Noel, among other things, provides technical advice, investigates complaints, and counsels faculty, staff, and students on how to address issues of harassment and discrimination.

Noel holds a J.D. from Northwestern University but nevertheless believes that a strictly legalistic approach is not necessarily the best way to help people who seek assistance. She remains optimistic that at an institution of higher learning people can learn to listen to one another.

Evelyn Somers RogersEvelyn Somers Rogers
Associate Editor
Missouri Review
PhD, University of Missouri
email: RogersES@missouri.edu

My career has been largely in literary editing and publishing, though my doctoral work at MU included research in the area of women's comic fiction. In addition to writing and serving as an instructor for Women in Popular Culture (Women's and Gender Studies 2005, MU Distance Education), I am especially interested in helping to discover and launch new women writers. I also write and publish fiction about women's experience.
