The charge to the Status of Women Committee is to assess and to make recommendations to the deputy chancellor regarding the status and education concerns of women.
MU Women's Center
The Women's Center offers extensive programs including: Interactive discussions, Workshops and weekly groups, Outreach programs for residence halls, fraternities and sororities, and classes and community organizations on important topics such as: Rape and Sexual Violence, Violence in Relationships, Body Image and Eating Disorders, Personal Growth and Awareness, Self-Esteem, Gender Socialization, and Feminism.
MU LGBT Resource Center
The University of Missouri Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center seeks to provide a safe environment that is welcoming to all students, staff, faculty, and community members. In this environment, we actively support student learning through programming and leadership opportunities. The Center encourages understanding by providing a broad range of resources on LGBT / Ally issues and by advocating for the creation of an inclusive MU community.

Cambio Center

Provide education and enhance the welfare of all residents of the state of Missouri in the context of the current demographic changes
Develop a premier source of knowledge, scholarship, and outreach to respond to the local effects of globalization
Provide knowledge and best practices to facilitate the integration of newcomers to Missouri and the Midwest
Understand the international nature of the immigration process, the cultures and institutions of Latin America, as a major global partner of Missouri in the exchange of goods and the migration of people
Missouri Women's Council
The Missouri Women's Council is the premier source of critical information for Missouri women and families. Our mission, "Providing Missouri women the information necessary to obtain economic, social and political parity" speaks of our objectives in Missouri. We serve as an information link between state agencies, corporate Missouri, and privately owned businesses. We currently publish over eighteen statistical fact sheets pertaining to women and families, sponsor programs that promote opportunities for women to become economically self-sufficient, and provide outreach services and information to individuals through our office in Jefferson City.

The realization of women's rights is a global struggle based on universal human rights and the rule of law. It requires all of us to unite in solidarity to end traditions, practices, and laws that harm women. It is a fight for freedom to be fully and completely human and equal without apology or permission. Ultimately, the struggle for women's human rights must be about making women's lives matter everywhere all the time. In practice, this means taking action to stop discrimination and violence against women.

Archives for Research on Women and Gender
The Archives for Research on Women and Gender (ARWG) is under the direction of the UTSA Library and a part of the UTSA Archives. The ARWG specializes in acquiring, preserving, arranging, describing, and providing access to primary source materials that document the lives of women, constructions of gender, and expressions of sexual identity in South Texas. Primary sources include letters, speeches, reports, minutes, financial statements, programs, brochures, newsletters, posters, scrapbooks, photographs, and other personal and organizational documents.
