Dr. Tabby Violet received her PhD in American Studies with a graduate certificate in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Bowling Green State University. Her work centers disability justice practices while drawing from queer theory, feminist disability studies, and critical race theory in order to interrogate the ways in which people respond to ableism in society. Her research contributes to a body of work invested in recognizing and archiving the survival and brilliance of disabled bodyminds.
