Satisfies Behavioral Science General Education Requirement

The course addresses issues related to gender, law, and the justice system in the U.S. and /or globally. Topics may include the history of women's rights in the U.S.; contemporary issues in law and justice such as incarceration, human trafficking, and gay marriage; and the ways race, class, sexuality, and citizenship shape experiences of justice.
